Friends have already told me about "palms" and "planet hollywood" but they are far away from the strip....i would prefer to be closer to all the other hotels|||Planet Hollywood is dead center on the strip. Hard Rock is off the strip. The best hotel in Vegas is the Wynn. Any of the hotels will 'do', though, if you plan on being in the room for sleeping and that's it. The best are Wynn Venetian/Palazzo Bellagio Four Seasons Luxor, NYNY, Excalibur, Bally's, Imperial Palace are all pretty junky. When I would go with friends, I'd stay at the Mirage, Planet Hollywood, or Paris, depending on who had the best rates. I had standards and refused to stay in the trashy places.|||Both the MGM & Venetian is sick!! you can't ask for better facilities/rooms!!
