First time to Vegas, and it's for my 28th Birthday. So far I am looking at:
Ceasars Palace
Aria
Paris
Planet Hollywood
--Would love opinions of which to choose or others. Going to be me and my boyfriend.|||Bellagio would always be my first choice because of their immaculate customer service, second to none. Also the best buffet in Vegas and amongst the best restaurants, lounges and night clubs. If you get a fountain view room it's just awesome.

However, it's expensive, and so are Venetian or Encore, so.... amongst the ones you have highlighted, I'd go for Aria, with new, modern rooms, a real fun huge casino and a good location. Paris Vegas is also nice though I am not keen on their casino games. PH is ok, a cheaper option by all means. Caesar's Palace is a little less affordable, a huge maze so for that reason I'd exclude it personally.

You may want to consider Mandalay Bay, which is great for those in their late twenties and early thirties, fantastic rooms; location is a little 'off' (south Strip) but it's not the end of the world with their free shuttle to Excalibur.|||For your age group you guys would probably like Planet Hollywood/Towers the best! The crowd is around the same age, its located in a great section of the strip! Easy walking to just about anything. PH Tower is smoke-free, just to let you know. The PH casino and hotel and the PH Towers are both connected by the Miracle Mile shopping mall which is also in the huge resort, so it's not like you need to go outside to get to one place to another!

PH Towers have the following
* Jacuzzi tub
* Washer/Dryer combo in the bathroom
* Kitchenette with plates/cups/utensils (although I was wary about using them)
* FOUR TVs in one suite
* Lots of room!
* Projector screen
* Ceiling to floor windows (but with the best shades EVER to keep out the sun during the day time)

If i had to pick a close second i like Aria its new and connected to the city center which is awesome, then caesars they have the best pool out of the group (this is an older 40+ rich crowd) then i would go with Paris last but paris is still one of the best casinos in vegas! You have a high list here!|||Ceasars Palace- Some towers are nice and others are not. Great common areas, casino, and pool.

Aria- Relatively quiet because it has too many rooms with too few people staying. Very nice rooms, restaurants, and casino. Unlike other casinos it doesn't smell too much of smoke.

Paris- Great restaurants and location. The rooms aren't anything special, but not bad. The pool is above average and the casino is nice.

Planet Hollywood- Great casino, shopping, and restaurants. Service, rooms, and pools are mediocre. The crowd is young and rowdy smokers.|||I loved Planet Hollywood! It was in an ideal location in the centre of the strip, it had lots going on inside the hotel, the casino was huge and the heart bar was great for a drink. The fact it was attached to miracle miles mall was great as well because it gave us lots of options for food and drink close by and i could go spend all my money in the stores :P Gallery Niteclub was great too.
The rooms in PH was excellent as well, I can't recommend it enough :)
Other hotels that I liked just from exploring the strip were New York New York, MGM, Caesars, and Paris.
Mandalay bay was also nice, but its a bit further away from the action, you need to use a tram to get to the main part of the strip.

Enjoy Vegas, I wish I was going back soon :)

PH Towers are right at the back of the miracle miles, but the rooms look lovely. I never actually stayed in the Towers, I was in the main resort but tbh if it was significantly cheaper I don't think the extra 5mins through the mall would bother me.
I wouldn't describe the PH rooms as 'boring'. Its a hotel room, what are you looking for? Resort Room had his& hers sinks, a tub, a shower and was more than big enough for me and my boyfriend, with a lKingsize bed, 2 chairs and a table. I had the best time in Planet Hollywood and recommend it to anyone 18-35.|||Of all your choices, I'd go with Planet Hollywood towers. Go for a 1 bedroom suite and you won't regret it. There's a jacuzzi in your room, flatscreens everywhere, a wet bar, and a projector in your living room. Compared to PH, it's newer, a few minute extra walk into the hotel, but definitely not bad at all.

All the hotels you mentioned are pretty good, but I don't know the details and your budget, so this would be the best bang for my buck choice. Try http://www.mycheapvegas.com for promo codes too if you decide on other hotels.|||Caesar's. Their buffet is not so great but the pool is amazing and the overall hotel is too.

I know Bellagio is not in your list (and maybe budget) but if you can, I would recommend that one too. The hotel and grounds are pure fantasy and so romantic so if it's you and your boyfriend, that might be a special memory.|||Aria
and Vdara are very nice, upscale--and less rift-raft.The more you pay-the better...u dont wanna stay where all the 22 year olds stay--or the hicks from texas with coolers in thier rooms. Anyone that keeps beer in a cooler while vacationing in vegas is tacky..Vdara was wonderful.|||PH towers are so far back of the mall! Long walk!

Aria the newest. I would go with.
CP has a newer tower opening or is opened.
Paris heard its gone downhill.
PH boring basic room I got. A local deal. Trouble getting in and outta of the super deep bath tub!|||For good sources about recommended places to stay there, hotels reviews, and hotel average prices, link below would helpful

Bye|||Yeah I think Planet Hollywood is good. I haven't been there personally, but would love to try this year.|||Flamingo is good and it is in the middle of the strip.
New York New York is very good
Luxor is good (my neighbor and her husband like it)|||Ceasars Palace. One of my all time favorites. I love there pool!|||For me, it would have to be the Bellagio, overlooking the fountains.
