For my 1st trip to Vegas? There's not a whole lot of reviews out there, and what is is mixed. I'm a little confused on the whole timeshare/hotel thing...should I skip it and stay somewhere else?|||Most visitors to Vegas spend very little time in their hotel room because there is so much to do and see. PH Towers are nice but for a first time visitor, I will not recommend staying there. You will have more fun at hotels like the Mirage, MGM Grand or NYNY. Here are some deals

It may be subtle like flyers in your room or ads on the TV, or it might be aggressive like blocking your way to the elevators until you agree to take a "tour" that ends with them handing you a contract. If you are confident that you can say "no" to anyone, then you will be fine. But they can get very persuasive.

The rooms look nice but for a first trip to Vegas there is nothing special about it that you can't get someplace else.|||In my opinion it is a good place to stay but I would also consider to stay at MGM Grand or Mirage - I would make my decision regarding the best price. Check http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com for the latest Las Vegas hotel promotions in order to get the best price.|||No. I was doing some on line stuff the other day.
The guests hated the place.
It was dirty, and not up to the standards.
Check it out on planet hollywood complaints and you will not want to spend your
$$ there.
