I was told Caesars Palace was located in the middle of the strip which is exactly what I wanted, but what about Planet Hollywood? Is that in the middle also. And if I end up staying at Planet Hollywood, I still wanted to do some shopping at Caesars. How close together are they?|||Both hotels are actually not that far from each other. The best way to get up and down the strip is to get a 24hr pass on the Deuce, that way you can hop on and off the bus all day long. Here is a map of the Vegas strip to give you an idea of the hotel locations.

Caesars is dead center on the strip where PH is somewhat south. Remember that the Flamingo was the first resort on the strip and everything is built up from that center point. Caesars is directly across from the Flamingo. Take the fact that the Forum shops are even further north of Caesars. I would recommend Caesars rather than PH in your case.|||How did you choose wither Caesars or Planet Hollywood? The palace is way more expensive, the Mirage is right there and next door to Caesars, it's running 55 a night mid week. Imperial Palace is in the middle of everything also. Shopping at Caesars and Bellagio are an amazing thing.|||They are a few hotels apart. PH is next to the new City Center, Paris, Bellagio, NY, NY, MGM, etc. Caesar's is closer to Mirage, TI, Venetian, Wynn.
So they both have shopping, PH calls it Miracle Mile. PH is also more recently updated (I believe Nov. 2008) and has a younger crowd. Hope that helps. Enjoy!|||Caesars is in the middle, PH is not but you can walk to any casino from PH. From Sahara Hotel to Mandalay Bay is 3.8 miles
