Just wondering what/where accepts travellers cheques as I am not sure weather to purchase 100% travellers cheques or part cash.. Thanks!|||Most large companies in the States accept Travellers Checks in place of cash. But personally I would do part cash part travellers check. Some places do not accept them. At least with the Travellers Checks you can have them travel insured and if stolen can have them replaced. Because of the large amounts of fraud that have happened, they are harder to cash now. So bring some cash as well. And never pack cash in a obvious place or in luggage. If the hotel you are staying at offers a safe in the lobby, I highly suggest using it. Room safes are not always secure.
