Were staying there feb 17 - 20th and just wanted to know what to expect.|||Totally revamped and just a year old and right in the center of the south strip. And if you have a street view you should be able to see the fountain show at the Bellagio.|||great .. they have the miracle mile with many places to go shop at|||Good, The Hard Rock is full of hookers....The Wynn breakfast is lovely.|||Eh.. It's ok. I shop there every once in a while.
Not my fav. I love Mandalay Bay, The Palms, and the Hard Rock the best for good eats and a crazy good time.|||There are several room types at the Planet Hollywood: Hollywood Hip, resort, resort vista, and then several suites. The Hollywood Hip rooms are slightly larger than average at 450 s.f., and a huge amount of that space is in the bathroom. Each has "real" movie memorabilia in them.
Bathrooms have marble counter tops, separate soaking tubs and showers and a private little water closet. There are flat-screen TVs, ironing boards and safes as well as two telephones, one is cordless. Nice carpeting, comfortable beds and furniture.
The lobby is too small and there is sometimes a long wait to check in. Very good buffet, one of the best. Two casinos, the upstairs one is for high rollers. Good shows. Occasionally you will run into "street" performers or acrobats performing for free in the 3rd floor rotunda. There are over 130 shops to gawk at.
There is the "priv茅" night club that is good but not one of the most exclusive. There is not too long of a wait.
Planet Hollywood has a mostly 30ish crowd with money to spend as a clientele.
*|||Oh I been there before, Used to be the Aladdin, but they took it out and re-builded Planet Hollywood. Its a good Casino, they have like 2 floors, but the first floor is the Casino. Its like any other casino there is in vegas. But Planet Hollywood looks more urban and flashy.
