For Example:
Planet Hollywood Rates on July 2 to the 4th Total Is $300 (for 3nights)
But...
The fallowing weekend for 3nights it goes up to the total of $500
AND...
The weekend after that its back down to $400

What's the deal? Can someone explain why is this?!
Thank You!|||Sometimes rates are higher when there are major events in town, rooms may be hard to come by, and people will be willing to pay just to have a place. When they expect less demand, they often lower prices to attract more travelers. They're just trying to get the most money they can.

We went last year, and had much cheaper rates over Memorial Day weekend than the weekend before - we paid $200 for our rooms on the weekend nights of Mem weekend, but the rates were $450 for the weekend before. Turned out that there were 3 major conventions in town (one at our hotel), and there was a country music award event as well.|||Unlike other US cities, there is no peak or off-peak seasons in Las Vegas. Hotel room prices changes from day to day and sometimes from hour to hour. The price you will pay depends on what else is happening in town on that day. To get a great price,

My suggestions: 1) Check-in on a week day and not a weekend. 2) Check the convention calendar to make sure there are no major events in town. 3) Book on time. 4) Look for deals and promo codes. http://www.lasvegas-how-to.com/special.p鈥?/a>
Here are more tips on how to get discount hotel rooms.

The same reason you can run an ad on a random page of the Yonkers News much more cheaply than a same size ad in a prominent location in the New York Times. In each case, if the seller thinks they can get morefor it, they will. If they don't think they can get top dollar for it, prices will come down.|||Depends on what conventions are in town, holidays, and what the market will bear|||Make sure there are no conventions, since they can really drive up rates. Avoid dates with large conventions having 30,000 or more people.

Also concerts or events can effect price of room rates

Go during the week (Sunday-Thursday). Friday/Saturday rates are much higher. Avoid going on a holiday.
