I asked before but i wanna ask again:
Excalibur
Planet Hollywood Resort
Monte Carlo Resort
Treasure Island
Paris Las Vegas
Mirage
The Venetian
Bellagio
Wynn
MGM
In terms of prices, room quality, convenience (to airport and casinos), etc.|||Well Wynn would have the best poker but also the highest limits. Also, same for the Bellagio. The Bellagio has a great poker room and poker tournaments are held their often. Forget the Excalibur, Planet Hollywood aka Aladdin, Treasure Island, Paris, Monte Carlo-they just have the standard gaming floor. They have poker but are not known for their poker room. MGM has a large gaming floor, not bad, good for average players and has a high roller room. I am not a fan of the Venetian because they do not treat the guests well, even at the tables. Mirage is also good for table games. Best place before the Bellagio and now the Wynn but the Mirage is good and decent room prices.
Every hotel/casino has shuttles to the hotels to and from the airport. They are all on the Las Vegas Strip. The furtherest from the airport is the Wynn but just by one block. MGM owns Exacalibur (the cheapest place to stay on your list), Treasure Island-TI, Mirage, Bellagio and the MGM-same airport shuttle for all.
If I had to reccomend any of these places to stay and you are just on an average budget I would choose the Mirage or Paris. If you have no budget the Wynn or Bellagio and if you want the cheapest the Excalibur.
The center of the Strip would be the Bellagio, Paris, Mirage and TI. MGM and Excalibur at the beginning. Plan to do a lot of walking or taxis if you stay at those two.|||You are asking about a lot of different properties. My suggestion is for you to go to the following link. It's the average person's guide to Las Vegas, and it will give you a lot of valuable information about any property you are interested in.
Hope this helps.|||I don't know much about the hotels, but I can tell you that there is no convenient way to get to the airport. You MUST take a taxi and it will be between $15-50 depending on the day and the time that you travel. As for the location of the hotel in comparison to the casinos: any of those will be fine because you will be on the strip. It is a lot of walking no matter where you stay. Paris is my absolute favorite place on earth! I can not afford to stay there though. I stay downtown at the Golden Nugget which is awesome for a fraction of the price compared to a nice hotel on the strip. The food is cheaper downtown and I always have better odds gambling there too. Check out Orbitz or Priceline and it will let you know how much rooms are and there are reviews on them as well. Good luck.|||I would go with MGM or Wynn - the larger ones. Check out the Las Vegas sights guide on Cafeyak.com|||Excalibur has paper thin walls.
Monte Carlo is alright...
Mirage is also alright...
The Venetian is nice
The Bellagio is nice too
Wynns' standard rooms are "bright & airy"
MGM...I stayed there once and the bathroom was FILTHY !
(Built-up scum in the sink, stains in the shower;on the mirror;on the floor;under the toilet seat)
Plus the room was kind of tiny "Tokyo-style"...would not stay there again !! In their favor...they did have a l'il tv inside the bathroom mirror...lol !|||look them up yourself online under Las Vegas..
www.google.com|||i've been to the MGM.... i don't know prices.... but the rooms are TINY........ i mean they kinda have to be to have the most hotel rooms in all of las vagas..... i hated it...... when i say they were small i REALLY REALLY mean it...... it was very close to other casinos though.... it's kinda in the middle of everything..... or at least it was when i was there.... but it's been about 4 years|||If all you want to do is play poker and money isn't really a problem there is no other choice for you but the Bellagio. And you have to make it downtown to Binion's to play poker since that's where the WSOP is played. It's got pictures of all the great players up and it's nostalgic. Good luck!|||The Paris is a little older crowd, but they have great Crepes. The MGM is a little outdated, but they have lions to look at and their bartenders do a song and dance show (yeah). The Venetian is ok. A little guady for my taste. Who pays to ride a gondola (the little boat) around 4ft deep pool? The Bellagio is by far the best on your list if you can afford it. Be sure to see the water show at least once or twice. And the pirate show at Treasure Island is cool the first time. Not cool enought to stay there, but fun none the less. They are all about the same distance from the airport. The strip is parallel to the airport. They are also all casinos, so convenience is more about the price of the casino you are interested in. They all have $10 blackjack tables and poker rooms, slots and craps, so...really the difference is in theme and clubs. My favorites aren't even on your list. Mandalay Bay, Hard Rock (the Pink Taco has great food and you'll feel like a rock star) are nice if you're not ready to eat yogurt and spend your time checking out the shopping deals and buffets.
If you have the money, go with the Wynn or Bellagio.|||most of the ones you mention all have good size poker rooms...but..4-8 is usually the smallest game...i like bally's poker room and the hotel rooms are nice...plus it is reasonable priced...it is a short walk to planet hollywood, bellgio, flamingo and o'sheas poker rooms...good luck bro
