these are my top 3 choices! :

Ceasers palace ( pool closed, construction)

the venetian resort hotel

Planet Hollywood

They are all very good deals now, but i cant decide!
no gambling.

what are your reasons for which ones are best and nicest?

please help! thanks.|||It's strange that Caesar's would close down their entire pool, if it weren't for that I would probably choose that one out of the 3 for a family vacation. It's quieter and a classic.

PH is more of a party hotel for the young crowd, not too great for families, more for the 21 and over crowd.

Venetian just not somewhere I would want to stay. It seems like a place for middle-aged people with money who want to be somewhere quiet.

Have you considered Mandalay Bay? They have an awesome pool area and everytime we run into someone while we are there who are with their family, that is where they are staying. They have an awesome pool complex with real sand, a lazy river, and more.

Another more affordable option is Excalibur. That's where we took our girls for a family vacation and they loved it. It is a castle, so that went over well, and they also have a midway downstairs with all kinds of Carnival games that are affordable. They also have the Tournament of Kings dinner show which is great for kids, and it comes with a meal. It is one of the last hotels left that caters to families with children.

For some awesome promo codes, check out this site http://smartervegas.com/

Caesar's from $120/night with the 4th night free

Planet Hollywood from $65/night with 2nd night 50% off

Mandalay Bay from $65/night (deeply discounted- normally over $100)

Excalibur from $25/night ( I recommend upgrading to the Widescreen room)|||no need to ask others, now be your own tour operator in just few clicks at http://websoni.com and http://discounttravelpackages.blogspot.c鈥?/a>|||Family orientation is a thing of the past. Rather than find one hotel for the family, think of lots of activities across the Strip.

Mandalay Bay has a great pool and lazy river
and they have Shark Reef

Excalibur has Tournament of Kings dinner show

Mirage has Love cirque show (Beattles tribute) and Treasure Island has Mystere, both family oriented and fantastic for all

Circus Circus has Adventure Dome Amusement Park (indoors) and the manor/motel has a pool right outside

Caesars does have Forum Shops with anamatromic statute shows/free

NYNY has scream rollercoaster

Next to MGM Grand is movie theatre and Game Works

Sorry but that is why Vegas is known as the Adult Entertainment Capitol of the World Vegas found several years ago the family orientation was more difficult to control than ever expected and most casinos removed the arcades and other family entertainment|||The Venetian is more laid back and quieter than the others. Not sure what you are looking for. The Fashion Show Mall is just across the street. More upscale at that end of the strip.|||IMO, the two best for families are the Orleans and Excalibur. It would be easier to narrow it down if I knew the ages of your kids.

Orleans

Excalibur

After the above, I would probably go with the MGM Grand or Mirage.

Caesars Palace would be a good one, but if the pool is closed, no way.
