Looking at booking Vegas for New Year (planning ahead, I know) and I'm guessing the sooner you book the cheaper it is, especially since I'm in the UK.
So does anyone know when Planet Hollywood release their rooms? Thanks :)|||You don't need to book so much in advance, I'd start looking maybe in the summer, it's way too early now.
Sometimes they have amazing deals. Last year, they accidentally released a employee promo where you could get 40% off the NYE rooms. A lot of people saved a lot of money lol.
Anyways, check sites like http://www.mycheapvegas.com for the latest promo codes. When you find something you find reasonable, book it, then keep checking back. If you find something better, rebook, and cancel initial reservation with no penalty.|||Rooms can be booked usually 365 days in advance.
But booking in advance does not mean a cheaper room. The big casinos have a hugh financial staff that knows how to forecast and determine what people are willing to pay on any given day of the year, especially big days. If it ends of being wrong and don't fill the rooms, as anticipated, the rooms will be discounted.
This year there were about 1800 unsold rooms on New Years Eve in all of Las Vegas. That's over 99.5% occupied. The hotels will be upping the price for next year. The hotels can risk having a little bit less occupancy but much more income per unit sold.|||90-120 days in advance.
