Hi, I'm thirteen and I am going to NYC for the first time in June. I have a few places I want to go
Time Square
Planet Hollywood
Statue of Liberty
Empire State Building
Twin Tower Site
Central Park
Brooklyn Bridge
Top of The Rock
Chinatown
FAO Shwarz
Are there any good places to eat (that a 13 year old would like) and good places to shop that are good for people on a budget? Thank you for all your help!|||A few more places I would recommend

-Rockefeller Center and the Top of the Rock Observation Deck
-United Nations
-Central Park
-Brooklyn Bridge (you can walk across it too)
-Grand Central Terminal (largest railroad terminal in the country)
-A Ride on the Staten Island Ferry (its free and you can see the Statue of Liberty as the ferry crosses the harbor)
-Sightseeing tour on a Double Decker Bus
-Catch a home game at the new Yankee Stadium

Museums

-Museum Mile (Fifth Avenue from East 82nd to East 103rd Streets)
-Museum of Natural History and the Rose Center for Earth and Space (formerly the Hayden Platerium)
-MoMa
-Whitney Museum of American Art
-New Museum of Contemporary Art
-Madame Tussaud Wax Museum
-American Craft Museum
-Museum of American Folk Art
-Museum of the Moving Image
-The Paley Center For Media (formerly the Museum of Television and Radio)

Restaurants

In regards to place to eat in New York City. There are thousands of the restaurants in the Five Boroughs of New York City. Depending on your taste, your budget and your preferred location, may I recommend the links below.

http://www.urbanspoon.com/c/3/New-York-r鈥?/a> -- Urbanspoon. You can find restaurants either by price, location or cuisine.

http://www.ny.com/dining/ -- NY.com. You can find plenty of restaurant information at this link. Everything from H&H Bagel to fine dining at Le Cirque. Bon appetit!|||Velvrevoler1 I like stuff like Italian (pretty much any kind of pasta!)

|||Jekyll & Hyde restaurant. I went last year and loved it.
Also, this place at the top of a Marriot, it rotates, I can't remember the name, but most people in the city would know.
Definetly go to Mars 2112 to eat.

Also might want to try leaving the city for a day and going to Jones Beach, its about a half hour away.
Bay Village is always nice.
If you don't like the smell of fish, avoid Chinatown.
Do rowboating in Central Park.
If your into musicals/plays you might want to see one on broadway, sorry, i don't have any reccomendations since I'm not a fan of them.|||Manhattan has good food everywhere. You have to check out if its Zagat rated, but besides that you can find a good spot almost everywhere. Im not sure what you are looking for exactly, but sure they have your taste.
