Planet Hollywood was on George St opposite the Cinemas and Hard Rock Cafe was in Kings Cross. Being franchises, they both went broke as nobody was going to pay absurd amounts for meals. Not sure what's in their place. Probably those cheap tacky clothes mobs|||Planet Hollywood closed down but it is now called Star Bar and is on George St opposite the cinema complex...all the memoribillia has been removed although the fit out is still the same. Hard Rock Cafe burnt down quite a few years ago and I'm not sure they ever rebuilt it.|||ther is a planet hollywood in sydney but im pretty sure they changed the name to star bar. its in the city near george st i think. or maybe on george st.
